We've been hearing about these things for years, but this is a little extreme. They manage to create a "cost-effective" version of this thing and the world's gonna change. Right now, I can't tell whether it'll be better or worse for it.
Spycraft Adventure Fodder, Ahoy!
Posted August 12th, 2007 by AlexA fascinating story of an $40m black market Italian-Iraqi arms deal with deals spanning the globe. Sounds like prime material for a Spycraft season to me...
David Lynch Is Directing My Life!
Posted August 8th, 2007 by Crafty_PatSo I walked into the front office at work today and stumbled into the following scene...
Supply Officer to Front Office Girl: "They use ethanol gas for that."
Front Office Girl to me: "Have you seen Dennis the Menace?"
Me to Front Office Girl: "The cartoon?"
Front Office Girl to me: "No, the movie."
Me to Front Office Girl: "Sorry, not part of the target demo."
Seriously, that's exactly how it went. I still have no idea what the hell they were discussing before I arrived.
How J.K. Rowling Saved Spycraft
Posted July 14th, 2007 by Crafty_PatAs creators, we're always chasing magic. We're always hoping that something we put out there will connect with someone. We crave validation that isn't always evident in the cold dark that often comprises the bulk of the process. Because no matter what any of us tells you, we're all at least a little narcissistic. We have to be. It's how we connect with ourselves. It's how we conjure those ideas on the page, the screen, and the stage. If we're lucky, against-all-odds lucky, and we're very, very talented, we find magic, and those ideas stop being ours alone.
