Crafty Games proud to announce Little Wizards RPG for kids

Crafty Games is proud to announce its latest game...

We all discovered roleplaying in different ways, and we all hope that our kids will love it as much as we do. Little Wizards is a roleplaying game for inventive and inquisitive kids ages 6-10, developed to introduce them to the joy and creativity of stepping into a whole new world. It's quick enough to learn in just a couple minutes, engaging enough for older kids and parents to play with their little ones, and works just like the RPGs we've all been playing since Red Box.

Little Wizards is a Crafty Games production presented as a compact children's reader-style book, including everything you need to play and an introduction to Coinworld, where the Little Wizards live, laugh, and rise up as heroes.

Originally designed for the French market as Contes Ensorcelés by Antoine Bauza (7 Wonders, Ghost Stories) and published by Le Septième Cercle (Qin, Z-Corps), the English-language edition features updated rules and game content developed by Amanda Valentine (Smallville, Leverage).

Little Wizards will be available this fall, both as a 96 page full-color perfect bound print volume through Studio 2 Publishing, and in PDF through DriveThruRPG and Exclusive previews and play sessions will debut at Gen Con Indy, August 15-18, 2013.

More news and previews for Little Wizards will become available later this summer through, as well as Crafty Games' news feed and Facebook page.

Teach your kids the magic of roleplaying with Little Wizards!

Mistborn Adventure Game Preview: Conflicts and Illustrations Part 3

Today we have not one but two previews for you...

  • Conflicts: The full text of the Conflict Rounds section, showing how Physical, Social, and Mental Conflicts unfold in play. and how dice are used and managed at the table. Conflcits are the very heart of the Mistborn Adventure Game, and used for everything from combat to blackmailing someone to breaking their will.
  • New Interior Illustrations: This time we're showcasing Kelsier, a glimpse inside a noble gala, and the nobles line-up, the last of which is a collection of pieces you'll see in the book (some of which you've probably already seen). Given the tight social classes in Scadrial, we thought it would be fun to order character art in collections showing people common to each class side by side. This is one of the results.

Over the coming days and weeks we'll be releasing many previews and freebies for the Mistborn Adventure Game line. Sometimes you'll get new sheets and rules excerpts, other times art and story material, and we also have a few special surprises planned as well. Be sure to watch the Crafty Games website, Like us on Facebook, and Follow us on Twitter for more previews leading up to the December 15 release of the Mistborn Adventure Game.
