Praetorian

Praetorian

Requirements

Allegiance: Umbrella or Career Level 15+.

Base Attack Bonus: +6 or higher.

Blend: 4+ ranks.

Sleight of Hand: 4+ ranks.

Feats: Nemesis Basics, Combat Mobility.

The Umbrella prefers to get rid of its problems in unremarkable ways, and coming in through the front door is usually not encouraged. Some harder targets resist subtle solutions, however, and that's when the Umbrella tasks a Praetorian with the job. The Praetorian is primarily good at two things: getting close enough to the target to find out how to hurt them, then applying that knowledge with brutal efficiency. Their operations are usually noisy, but the Praetorian himself is a slippery target - and often long gone by the time anyone gets to sift through the pieces.

Attributes: The Praetorian relies on Dexterity to support his slippery combat style and focus on physical stealth, while Wisdom helps him discover his targets' weaknesses.

Vitality: 1d10 + Con modifier per level.

Class Skills

The Praetorian’s class skills are Acrobatics, Blend, Bluff, Investigation, Notice, Resolve, Sense Motive, Sleight of Hand and Streetwise.
Continuity: At Level 1, choose 3 skills that are class skills for any of your other classes. These become Praetorian class skills for you.
Skill Points at Each Additional Level: 6 + Int modifier.

Class Abilities

Hamartia I: Every ideology, every organisation has weak points - and you're good at picking them out, quickly. At Level 1, you gain the Nemesis Mastery feat. Further, once per mission as free action, you may choose an Allegiance other than Neutral. Your "Nemesis" Terrain feats also apply to this Allegiance until the end of the mission.
Hamartia II: Your insight into your enemy's methods is so great that it allows your teammembers to fight them more effectively. At Level 4, you gain the Nemesis Supremacy feat. Further, when you choose an Allegiance to apply Hamartia I to, all teammembers gain the Nemesis Basics feat targeting this Allegiance as temporary feat until the end of the mission.
Keep Moving: A still warrior is a dead warrior, and you've been drilled to avoid being a stationary target. At Level 1, when you make a successful attack, you may take a 5-foot step as a free action. You may use this ability a number of times per round equal to your Dexterity modifier (Minimum 1).
Weapon Savant: Every weakness requires a different tool, but your arsenal is flexible. At Level 2, a number of times per mission equal to your class level as a free action, you may gain one temporary weapon proficiency until the end of the current mission. This temporary proficiency may not be used to purchase advanced actions or tricks.
Trenchcoat: Concealing your equipment and actions beneath your clothing is second nature to you. At Level 3, the DCs of all Notice/Awareness and Search/Perception checks targeting gear you carry (including weapons and armor) increase by 4. Further, you make all Sleight of Hand checks as active checks.
Hound: You're an expert at tracking your prey - and eluding your hunters. At Level 4, you gain a competence bonus with all skill checks made as part of a Manhunt equal to the number of Terrain feats you possess.
Sugar In Your Gas Tank: You know your target's tricks well - and there won't be any of those shenanigans when you're around. At Level 5, all characters possessing an Allegiance your "Nemesis" Terrain feats apply to lose the ability to spend action dice for any purpose while they are in your CQB range.
