The mysterious Shop mastermind has often crossed paths with the Ultimates; although he has received some setbacks, he seems far from defeated. His endgame is a total mystery, especially since the failure of The Plan has scrambled the Shop into something even more bizarre and impenetrable. He seems reluctant to engage the Ultimates in direct battle, though he often has clones of himself venture out into the field. At times, it almost seems like he's helping them fight a common enemy, but even that is highly speculative.
