You’ve spent your entire life living cut off from the post apocalyptic world, unaware of events outside. However you are better educated and equipped than the vast majority of people.

• Any checks with the Gear or Gear Only tags have their error range increased by 1 if you lack access to the appropriate Calibre II or better kit or other relevant item (such as Computer for the Computers skill). (-.5 – though not sure if even worth that) 
• You gain a +1 insight bonus with Bureaucracy and Computers checks. This bonus increases by an additional +1 at Career Levels 4, 8, 16, and 20. (4)
• You gain 1 additional interest at Career Levels 0, 2, 6, 10, 14 & 18. (1)
• You gain a free Calibre II Pip-Boy (1)

Raider

• Bonus Feat: Hard Core (1)
• You gain a +1 insight bonus with Intimidate and Streetwise checks. This bonus increases by an additional +1 at Career Levels 4, 8, 16, and 20. (4)
• You gain the Blunt & SMG proficiencies. (1.5)

Beastlord

When you talk, the animals listen.

• Bonus Feat: Animal Partner (1)
• You gain a +1 insight bonus with Survival checks. This bonus increases by an additional +1 at Career Levels 4, 8, 16, and 20. (2)
• At the start of each mission you receive 1 calibre I or II melee weapon at no cost. (2)
• Your Strength or Dexterity increased by 1 (whichever is lower, your choice in case of a tie). This bonus is applied after any attribute modifiers from your Talent.

Steel Brother

You are a born and bred Brother of Steel, and have grown up according to the their doctrine and methodology.

• Bonus Feat: Iron Will (1)
• You gain an Acquaintance-grade contact within the Brotherhood of Steel, this contact improves at levels 6, 12 & 18. (1)
• Your mission gear includes an additional 4 upgrades which may only be applied to weapons or security gear picks. (1)
• You gain a +1 insight bonus with directed skill checks and team checks for which you're the leader. This bonus increases by an additional +1 at Career Levels 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20 (4)
