The score to Conan the Barbarian is pretty damn awesome - it opens with Mako's narration!

Depends on the version. Most do, some don't.

The majority of the score to Mulholland Drive - especially the haunting spanish version of Roy Orbenson's "Crying".

I am sure our American forum friends have seen the Army Strong commercials.  For those that have not heres the link.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSbCnWe6e1o

Now, I am not here to promote the army recruiting or what have you, but I must say I love this ad.  I think more than anything I like the score.  Its very powerful and has alot of emotion. I would use this as a gear up phase or introduction to a good military based game.

Decent, then again I've always been partial to the Marines Wink (http://youtube.com/watch?v=87OEfKG1cMg)

I'd choose Bill Brown for military themed music myself:
Rainbow Six Eagle Wathc Intro http://billbrownmusic.com/soundBB/R6EW_IntroMusic.mp3
Rogue Spear Urban Ops Middle East Remix http://billbrownmusic.com/soundBB/RSpr_UrbanOpsRemix.mp3
Shadow Watch Main Theme http://billbrownmusic.com/soundBB/SW_MainTheme.mp3
Rainbow Six 3 Xbox Intro http://billbrownmusic.com/soundBB/RainbowSix3_Xbox_Intro_BB.mp3
C&C Generals Main Theme http://billbrownmusic.com/soundBB/CCGZH_USA_10_BB.mp3

Last but not least, links to some propaganda vids (FDF): http://www.mil.fi/perustietoa/videogalleria/
Top to Bottom: Air Force, Army, Navy, Future, Serviceman and the commercials Leader, Doctor, Technical.

So, yesterday I picked up copies of the scores to the 5 alien flicks (including AVP, and the "special edition" of the Aliens score).

I'm listening to the score to Alien at the moment and am *seriously* underwhelmed with it. To the point where I'd seriously consider rating it the worst Jerry Goldsmith score I've ever heard.

I would avoid John Williams, while I love his music (the only good part of the most recent Star Wars movies) they are way too tied to the movies they come from. On the other hand, if you are running an Indiana Jones or Star Wars game then by all means use them!

I recently started using the sound track from The Man Who Would Be King, I ran across it and knew that it must be mine. Smiley

Composer Harry-Gregson Williams is nice in general.

Though i'm new to Spycraft, i've used the Tears of the Sun soundtrack for my games before.

Picked up the Halo soundtrack for $2, complete with bonus DVD promoing H2. I can't get over how much bits of it remind me of Riverdance

I might need to try out the Elektra score. I'm watching the movie (so sue me) and the score is probably the only other reason (in addition to Jennifer Garner) to watch this thing.
