They used to be a Portuguese colony.

    Former Portuguese colonies in Africa:
  • Angola
  • Cape Verde
  • Equatorial Guinea (Portugal 1474 - 1778, Spain 1778 - 1968)
  • Guinea-Bissau
  • Mozambique
  • São Tomé and Príncipe

Mozambique borders South Africa to the extreme North West, so I can see the chain being founded by an immigrant, or maybe a local who liked the neighbouring cuisine?

 Shocked

Sometimes the depth to which these conversations go scares me.

It's weird that I saw this and knew exactly which chain you were talking about.  (And incidentally, you mean NE, not NW).

The Great Dictator staring Charlie Chaplin.

He somehow manages to break the forth wall while still staying in character.  If you can, search for the original clip.

ADI Green Goblin Makeup Test for Spider-Man: I always wondered why a purist like Raimi would resort to a hard steel mask in the first movie. I figured it was because his team couldn't get a practical effect to look right, but now I'm thinking it was studio interference. Too bad. This would have looked very nice on screen.

I'm glad he didn't go with that, it would have just looked as wierd and out of place as Venom.

I think perhaps it may have come down to Dafoe not wanting to sit in a make-up chair for any length of time. To me... the helmet made sense.

To me... the helmet made sense.

Given his backstory in the film, I agree entirely.
