You've gotta love villains with an uncontrollable urge to burst into song! - the late  Michael Dunn - the original Dr. Loveless. (And one of the many reasons that the movie just did not live up to the original.)

The Auld Grump - Bring me a little water Sylvie
Bring me a little water now
Bring me a little water Sylvie
Every little once in a while....

I think that I have heard him admit to actually liking a game exatly once, and that was for Portal.

A fact that impressed the folks at Valve so much that they took him on a tour of the studio.

The Auld Grump, this is a triumph. I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction....

NOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooo..................

That song

It haunts me

Wherever I go

I can't get away

Make it stop

MAKE IT STOP!

<whimpering>

*   *   *

I actually like that song, but EVERY time I get it out of my head, someone reminds me of it and it comes back.

Don't worry Bill, just have a nice slice of cake and you'll be fine.

Having not played Portal and actually had to look up all the cake references to get the general idea...

I couldn't but help to keep thinking of Eddie Izzard's "Cake or Death" bit...

Now it's a torch

Let me put in a plug for hulu.com. I've been out of TV for so long that I've never seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Looks like hulu has the first two seasons available. Just watched episode 1.

Many, many years ago one of my favorite computer games was M.U.L.E. a game of colonizing an alien world - while competitive if one player went broke then the entire colony would fail. An odd mix of competition and cooperation.

One of the tools you relied on was a robotic mule, tough, versatile, and cantankerous.... looks like someone finally built one! While funny, the way the thing keeps its balance is nothing short of amazing.

Those packs make it look like a creepy, wingless fly. I like it. Smiley

Or Advocate/Two Fisted God of Guns.

Or Telekinetic Falcon Nations.

Or if Tifa isn't straight up Martial Arts, GTFO.

You realize you've just delayed Fantasycraft for a month as Scott's brain derails into Throwdown country, right?  Wink
