Melee upgrade table

I was looking at the new gear section in SP (I like!), but I couldn't find where it says how many upgrades you get if you drop to a lower caliber of weapon.  For instance, in FP on page 313 it has table 4.80 that tells you if you can drop down a caliber and get upgrades. 

In SP I found the upgrades and what they cost on pg. 272, but I can't find any info on downgrading to a lower caliber weapon to gain upgrades. 

Can anyone lend a hand?  Otherwise I love the new gear section, which was a major headache for me in FP.

Hey Famine, look on p 212 second column just before Common Items.

Cal II, III, can trade down with 1 upgrade.  Cal IV, V can trade down with 2 upgrades.

or you can trade a whole gear pick for double the amount of upgrades, cal II = 4 upgrades, Cal III=6 upgrades and so on.
