Is it a bad sign when I can recognize all four of those vehicles, and remember the shows.

What?  Didn't everyone watch Hardcastle & McCormick, The Monkees, The Munsters and Damnation Ally?  Is the little hovercraft from Ark II?  I'm sure it is.

The Roamer car in Ark II was a modified Brubaker Box, which is itself a VW Beetle kit car.  That hovercraft is from Spaceballs, although it's very similar in appearance to the ground car from the Logan's Run TV show.

Crap, why do I know this?  I wasn't even born when those shows were on the air.  Undecided

Now, if I had the money, I'd hire this baby for Conception and run some A-Team games in the back of it Wink

Thank you, I now have the A-Team theme in my head.

But, I have to admit, I did always want that van....

I actually had the A-Team action figures as a kid - and was disappointed that they weren't as well sculpted as my GI Joes

It's all about the giant killer cockroaches, baby!

Sorry Sad

If it makes you feel better, it took the best part of a day for it to leave my head Wink

Of course, now I have a number of scenario ideas involving The A-Team free-roaming through my head Wink

In a similar vein, though much, much older -

The Volvo C303 - originally a military design, one of the key choices was ease of repair.

For clandestine performance, something like a Ford Focus ST500 or a Mitsubishi Evo VIII or some mundane sports coupe with as much sunk into rebuilding the insides into a race/rally car as the thing cost in the first place.  But leave the body alone, you want a sleeper not a glowing, spinning tuner car.

Check out the Chevrolet Cobalt SS.
