Ptolemaic Egypt: 4d6 drop lowest?
« on: November 13, 2012, 09:44:39 PM »
I hear Pharoah's character was named "Shadowmaster McAwesometoga" and his weakness was an only 17 Charisma.

A d20 dating from the reign of the Ptolemies.  Perhaps we can get an authoritative answer to how much damage a kopesh did now.

I saw that a few days ago and was gonna share it.  Then I forgot.

It's in worryingly good condition.  By which I mean it looks almost new.  As in it probably is new.  Like a hoax.  Or maybe I'm just too damn cynical?

There are also ancient D12s.

Dice, of all sorts of flavors, were used in divination and, you guessed it, gambling.

And some of the oldest dice in existence are loaded.... :P

As for the condition of the die - it all depends on where it was found. Inside of a tomb few of the inhabitants roll the bones.

The Auld Grump, Pharaohic loaded dice... my faith in human nature was restored. :P
I don't know how the story ends...
But I do know what happens next.
