How many eps is it meant to run for?

If memory serves, ten, with a 90-minute version running on SyFy in the spring (here in the US anyway), and an unrated version on DVD after.

BSG: Blood and Chrome Ep. 3 & 4

Now if they had made this as the TV show, I would have watched.  So far, I like it.

Last Resort and 666 Park Avenue Canceled: I'm sad about one of those things. Two guesses which.

Hunted has also been canceled, but may wind up coming back in some new form - on Cinemax. Go figure.

Diabolik - The Series: This is a reboot/reset/remake of a calssic Italian IP. I for one and really looking forward to the subtitled version.

House of Cards: This is, as far as I know, all-new. Looks pretty awesome.

As usual, there's too much Doctor Who news to post alongside other stuff...

The Great Detective (Christmas 2012 Special Prequel): "There is a very pleasant tea room in the area."

Christmas 2012 Special trailer: "A grenade!"

Also, sweet zombie jesus is Jenna-Louise Coleman adorable. Off the charts, mind-blowingly cute.

::shakes head::

Ah yes! There's also a preview pic...

Spoiler: The Doctor Broods • show

...and I wasn't aware they released the Angel's Kiss - that dime store noir novel from Angels Take Manhattan - as a real eBook, but they did

And now they're making an audio book as well, read by none other than Alex Kingston.

Bravo, BBC. Bravo.

House of Cards is a remake of a British mini-series. I remember hearing about it in February of this year because my sister was in the room when the deal was negotiated at NetFlix and told me about it. This will be a brilliant piece of work. Take my word for it.

Exact same series title but it had Ian Richardson in the role and ran as 3 mini-series sets. The original is available on NetFlix streaming too. They changed it from a British minister to a US political insider who wanted to be VP but was passed over and then lied to about Sec/State.

Politics just dropped its drawers to show you how dirty its underwear is.

I love the late 60s swank of the "Danger: Diabolik" movie. Marisa Mell is just hotness beyond hotness.

“You might think that, but I couldn't possibly comment.” All props to netflix because that looks shiny and glorious. But this is the American remake of The Office, just with the excellent BBC series also named House of Cards. Kevin Spacey's character is This magnificent bastard.

And I should have read ahead before replying. Still, I hope the American version is half as brilliant.

Well the guy who created the British version is not only one of the producers but is on the writing staff. Kevin Spacey and David Fincher are both producers on it and Fincher is directing the first two episodes as well. ... I think it will be just as if not even more brilliant in certain ways.

What's crazy is that Netflix is putting up all thirteen episodes of the first season on February 1st. As a customer i heartily approve.

I actually talked to my sister last night about the show and she told me that in 2013, it will be the first of 5 original shows on NetFlix. She said David Fincher came in recently and showed them the first two episodes which termed "absolutely brilliant. They have envisioned the show perfectly."

The Walking Dead has cast another character from the comics...

Spoiler: This one really surprised me, honestly • show

Chad Coleman as Tyreese

I figured that with T-Dog in the picture from the get-go, they'd just skip Tyreese entirely. Guess not!
