Buzzfeed's recap of this week Doctor Who.

Spoilers, obviously.

As for the second episode of Revolution, I'm also liking Esposito more and more. Just the right level of creepy. The main girl, on the other hand, just isn't working for me. I hope she gets better, but at the moment it's just too much 'stare blankly past the camera'.

Yeah, it's like "Who hoo! Eyes over here! Ok, good. Now the rest of you ... " Although the flashback stuff with Tim Guinan and Elizabeth Mitchell are good, they would be better if I cared more about the heroine.

She's a model, so I'm not honestly expecting much. With luck she'll get better.

The Pond exit is... adequate. The Angel ideas that Moffat plays with are interesting but aren't carried across the finish line in my opinion, and while the circumstances surrounding the characters' departure work out well enough (even with the various meta misdirects and deflections), it doesn't feel to me like they really closed out that arc either. Maybe I was expecting a little too much closure. Still mulling.

Looking forward to the new companion though! I love what we've seen so far.

Arrow First Look featurette

Arrow producers answer fan questions

...and best of all, this year's Walking Dead Webisodes, again directed by SFX guru Greg Nicotero...

Cold Storage (all 4 parts)

(I dug the webisodes lots - much more so than last year's rather fun but also rather trim Bicycle Girl series.)

Oh, I do so very much like the new season of Person of Interest. The way the writers handled the secret origin of Root, and their building the Machine up as a distinct character, are particularly well done.

Yeah, this has gone from must see to owie in the span of just one preview. Well, that and all the scuttlebutt about the showrunners not seeing eye to eye with regard to tone and content. Shame. This seemed to have real promise.

You know what else looks dismal? Defiance. But really, did anyone honestly expect wor work?

At least we have the new S.H.I.E.L.D. show, which dropped a surprise at NYCC a week or so back...

...and just today announced its second cast member.

Both strong choices IMO.
