Baxton is interested in prompting as little attention from the guards as possible. What sort of check is that? Blend? Stealth? Bluff?

@ MikeS
Don't sweet the permit this go-round.  You stumbled across a sympathetic guard who feels that all delvers should be armed.  After all, there be demons out there.

@ theManUnknown
Blend, sir.  I've taken the liberty of rolling it for you.

I'll give everyone a chance as time moves on to post an IC stuff that you want to deal with.  However, I'll keep us moving toward the arrival.

@spinningdice

Let me know when Sidari plans to reveal herself.

We have (in addition to the individual equipment that's posted on page 1):

- 2 mules (to carry equipment)
- 3 tents (2 people per tent)
- enough food for however many weeks our employer thinks we should be gone
- pick-axe and shovel
- crowbar
- 10 or so large sacks
- most of the items on Brin's list that aren't somehow covered above; note that Bronn doesn't know what some of these are, what they are good for, and what to look out for when buying these, so Brin may not be getting what he wants
- enough petty cash to pay for 2 weeks of food and lodging (our time of stay in civilized lands)

I'm assuming that the outfitter's cash is sufficient to cover these expenses; there isn't anything gratuitous on the list (such as "new fitted chainmail for Bronn"...).

Reasonable statements all around.

The following either were not available or Bronn didn't get what Brindlglib was expecting.

There is no detailed map of the cannon.
The surveyors wheel is a wagon wheel with uneven marks on it.
None of the shops Bronn visited had any idea what a Theodolite was.  (For the record, they do exist, but not in the typical delver shops.)
String was available.  Knots were not.

IC: Drat and brebotherment!

OOC: About what I was expecting but more fun. Lots of nice hooks for inncidental IC activities in the evenings as Brindlglib fixes up the equipment as best he can.

Finally, Iudomastro, did you get my PM?

@ Catodon,

Yes, I did.  It was acted on and passed along.

I'll assume that the lack of posts means, "Carry on."  I'll do that when I get home tonight.  I'll count on you to speak up if your character needs something.

Sorry, this week's been a real pain for all sorts of reasons, Sidar will try and find a place to stay outside the Inn, I'm guessing we're passing through mostly farmland, so hiding in a barn or similar (unless there's another Inn close by...)

The past few days have been interesting.  I've got to do some business traveling this week but should have internet access while I am gone.  I'll get a new post up today.  If anyone wants to speak up over the next few (in-game) days, please do so.  Otherwise, things proceed as shown.

Rather than interupt the tension of the IC thread I'll note here that Brindlglib spends the evening makeing knots at 1 yard intervals in the string.
