I have been working on and am in a test run of some new added upgrades to the Spycraft Agency Database 2.0.  This will probably come out in a later patch in the near future.  This Security Patch came about when some agents were needed to be either closed off or monitored by the Agency for a time being.

1. New Agent login screen consisting of 3 buttons now:
       a. Agent Password Change - ability for Agent to change their password
       b. Agent Activation - All agents must activate themselves first to proceed
       c. Log In - Once activated, can then proceed to the Database

Pretty much the way it works is all agents codenames & passwords are in the log-in table as from before, but now are 3 new tables that you can split out agents into depending on what security risk they are at to the Agency.

Traceable
Unauthorized
Suspended Temporarily
Active - Log-in

Each level of security starts at the top and overceeds the ones below it, until it finds which level you put that Agent into.

I will not go into a in-depth description at this time, but pretty much for all of those players that use the database, can now REALLY use it with some Agency security thrown on top.

This kind of all started with the "What if a burned agent wanted to log into the Agency database?"

Well, let them try to log in, they will find out that they are inactive status and deemed unauthorized.  Try again and the Agency sends a trace...

or...

"What if someone tries hacking into the Agency database?"

Let em.  Dramatic Conflict Hacking.  Win, get a name and password thats on the Log-in active table.  Loose, and well...  Knock...knock.

This is just a brief post on some things to come.

p.s. you should have seen some of the Agents eyes when they tried activating themselves and a big suspended message and wav file sounded out "Identity confirmed...Access, Suspended"

*Raises hand* Yep, I was one of them.  We got pulled aside by control and, well, were forced to comply with some stuff.  Made for some awesome in-character role-playing, because we couldn't tell the others why we were pulled away.  This will be an awesome patch when it comes out!

Here are a couple prints of the various messages that pop up when Agents try to activate themselves.  Each one does a different action or only lets you go so far, or even shuts you out of the Agency database all together.

All good stuff, I downloaded this nifty tool last night with most of the plugins, it's a great in game prop.
