Apologies for the confusion. We've been so busy getting the books out this last week that we perhaps weren't as communicative with updates as we could have been. Here's the latest...
As we mentioned in the original delivery estimate post the printer gave us an ETA of July 9. Well, those dates are never 100% and as it happened the books came in on July 11, while we were en route to Comic-Con. We got into the actual packouts and shipping the following week and about half of the books, including all the Gen Con orders and most of the priorities, went out then. We finished out this week and are now entirely current through this past Monday (meaning everyone who's ordered anything from us through this past Monday can now rest assured that those products are in the mail and on the way).
Most domestic orders were placed via Media Mail, which USPS only guarantees within 8 business days. That said we frequently see much faster turnaround times, especially the closer you get to the U.S. west coast (from which the books were shipped). As you can see, many stateside folks have already received their books, and in every case those deliveries took less than a week.
Nearly all international orders were placed via First Class International, which on average takes about 2 weeks (though some areas are a little faster and some are a
lot slower).
Thanks again for your support! We hope you enjoy the game.
P.S. I had originally planned to post something about this on the blog yesterday but between the huge final push with the books and a lengthy business chat with Alex I was wiped out and took the afternoon to catch up on some much-needed sleep (thus me being awake at 3am). I'll post an update to the front page later this morning. Putting something up in the middle of the night here in the U.S. will help anyone who visits one of our sites but won't have the same reach as posting after the business day gets going.
EDIT: One more thing - if you love your book(s), please spread the word! As is always the case with a small press products, we can use all the good word of mouth we can get.
