Been waiting months and I believe you guys have gotten them from the printers.  When should I expect mine.  I am getting impatient without having a physical copy in my hand.  I hate having to rely on digital.

Cant say when yours will ship or if it has shipped, but I got mine yesterday.  And several others on the forums gto theirs today. So I would say yours will be in your hands soon.

any idea if there is a way to track them?  I live on the 3rd story and our building is always locked and my doorbell doesnt work.  It would be nice to know when to expect it.

Pat and Erik were finishing off the last pile of books yesterday, as I understand. Unfortunately, our ecommerce system nor the media mail option do not allow us to send tracking on pakcages, so without knowing where you live I'd say if you're in the continental US, the Postal Service tells us it can take up to 8 business days to arrive. We've been hearing about people receiving them much sooner than that, but no guarantees Smiley

Apologies for the confusion. We've been so busy getting the books out this last week that we perhaps weren't as communicative with updates as we could have been. Here's the latest...

As we mentioned in the original delivery estimate post the printer gave us an ETA of July 9. Well, those dates are never 100% and as it happened the books came in on July 11, while we were en route to Comic-Con. We got into the actual packouts and shipping the following week and about half of the books, including all the Gen Con orders and most of the priorities, went out then. We finished out this week and are now entirely current through this past Monday (meaning everyone who's ordered anything from us through this past Monday can now rest assured that those products are in the mail and on the way).

Most domestic orders were placed via Media Mail, which USPS only guarantees within 8 business days. That said we frequently see much faster turnaround times, especially the closer you get to the U.S. west coast (from which the books were shipped). As you can see, many stateside folks have already received their books, and in every case those deliveries took less than a week.

Nearly all international orders were placed via First Class International, which on average takes about 2 weeks (though some areas are a little faster and some are a lot slower).

Thanks again for your support! We hope you enjoy the game.

P.S. I had originally planned to post something about this on the blog yesterday but between the huge final push with the books and a lengthy business chat with Alex I was wiped out and took the afternoon to catch up on some much-needed sleep (thus me being awake at 3am). I'll post an update to the front page later this morning. Putting something up in the middle of the night here in the U.S. will help anyone who visits one of our sites but won't have the same reach as posting after the business day gets going.

EDIT: One more thing - if you love your book(s), please spread the word! As is always the case with a small press products, we can use all the good word of mouth we can get. Smiley

Got mine yesterday! It's one sexy book. Other than reading "The Eleventh Metal" I haven't had a lot of time to look at it yet...

I think one of the reasons I am so worried about getting it sooner than later is the fact that I moved twice since I pre-ordered it.  I did however contact crafty and have my address updated twice.  I just am worried it being lost somehow.

We took great care to make sure everyone's addresses were updated immediately as we heard from customers, and we were also painstaking and meticulous about double- and triple-checking that all the details were in order. We also replied to each and every address change request, and assuming you heard back from us that we'd updated our records you should be fine.

That said, mistakes and mishaps do happen, so if you're in the U.S. and don't see your book by the end of next week (which is beyond the 8-day window for Media Mail delivery), or if you're overseas and don't see your book in 3-4 weeks (there isn't a guaranteed window for overseas shipments, but that should be plenty of time), then drop us a line and we'll see what's going on. Before that, sadly, there isn't much we can do.

My copy reached my German address two or three days ago (can't be sure because I was not there and had to go to the post office). It looks and feels great, thank you!

By the way, I really enjoy the typeface. It works better in print than on screen.

Glad you like! I'm sure Crafty_Steve will appreciate the kudos. He went to great effort to mimick the look and feel of Brandon's novels.
