We really need to make an Ultimates wiki.

Done. There's a basic skeleton to work with, under Fiction.

Okay, we've managed to pound some bare basics in there and I'm updating as I can, but we need MOAR!

Er, I mean, more.

We need more.

I'd just completed an entry for Valentina when the system ate it.
I'm going to lose my mind for a little while, and assuming I make bail I'll recompile what I can remember to repost...later.

Yo Gatac, I've got a story idea for Mr. Simmons.

How did he get inducted into the Conspiracy?
He's got a bit of an usual edge for a combat specialist in having been a complete civilian first -complete as in having no formal military ties.
So might Mark have made the trek from Hitman/Enforcer to Agent?
Is Equinox to blame? Wink
He so often is, you know.  Cool

You know, it's always occurred to me to wonder exactly how Mark got on Equinox's radar in the first place. I mean, we certainly have the first introduction to Mark's origins in his fight against the Shop certainly would have perked the caned-wonder's attention. And yes, had he been working with Done, then Done had stories.

But how did 'Nox make the final connection?

The intro story being somewhat atrocious (oh God I looked at it please kill me), the most that can be inferred is that Mark somehow got a contract on what turned out to be a psionic operative. He killed that guy, which got him Gray's attention, who figured that he could use Mark as a disposable asset to throw at Archer and see how that works out. Mark killed a couple of Algernon's guys from info Gray gave him, until Algernon set a trap for him and convinced him to switch teams. Then Mark took down a clone of Gray. I assume that was enough to get Nox's attention.

I remember that now.
I did, and do, kinda like it. That was a nicely twisted introduction, a fine bit of manipulation and divergence from the usual sort of "eh, it just happened" way teams form.
Also, uh, any chance of some technical feedback on my bit in the Ultimates CCG thread?
People seem to like it, and that's grand, but is it any good?
