Rules question!
« on: June 28, 2012, 06:34:10 PM »
I browsed through the forums topics, but didn't find this question anywhere.

When you roll less than 7 dice, and none of them match, what is your result? As far as I can tell, this is never mentioned.

Second paragraph under "Outcome" on page 146. Relevant info: "if your roll failed the Result is 0".

How do you roll seven dice without any of them matching? There are only six sides! If the only matches are sixes, then you get Nudges, but no success and a Result of 0, like EmpactWB posted.

You can roll 7+ dice and have none of them match numerically - remember, 6's are a Nudge, not a number. Thus, you could roll 3 6's, 1, 3, 4, 5 and fail. The difference is those Nudges prevent Complications for failure :)

And so, the downward spiral of my advice continues...

Double FAIL!  ;)

Is that like a Double Stuff? 'Cause I'm (mostly) off carbs, so one of those sounds awesome.
