Get your con started off right with some swashbuckling action! For those interested, I have an off-grid game running at GenCon 2012. The game is Wdndesday night, 8pm-Midnight. Please post here if you are interested.

The game description and slots are as follows:


Caerleon is a majestic kingdom, protected from ravening chaos hordes by its legendary holy knights and an order of enchantresses. This makes Caerleon a safe port and substantial trade opportunity. But now the city guard seems to have it in for you, the crew of the Emerald Crown. A vessel can’t turn a profit if its safe havens suddenly turn hostile, but solving this problem may take you to unexpected and exotic destinations.

This is a game in the River of Worlds sequence of games detailing the exploits of a ship known as the Emerald Crown. This ship plies the River of Worlds, an inter-planar waterway that connects disparate worlds. Every session features swashbuckling action in the far-flung planes of the River of Worlds.

River of Worlds is run using Fantasy Craft, a D20 variant fantasy game based on the rules system of Spycraft, featuring highly competent heroes and high action heroics. No prior experience is needed and rules will be taught, but familiarity with D20 games (e.g. Dungeons and Dragons 3rd edition) will be helpful.

Colour me interested. I'll be arriving in Indy nice and early this year, and my Wednesday night is currently free - unless the Will Call line is even worse this year. Also, I can bring New Zealand confectionary.

I am running Spycraft 2.0 on Friday night (in addition to Saturday night). The Friday night session was full, but news has it that one of the players might not make it, so there may be an opening.

If you're worried about picking up a Will Call badge or tickets before Thursday morning, they have announced that the Will Call desk will be open all night long to avoid a repeat of last year's Queuemageddon.
