The Oatmeal has launched Operation Let's Build a Goddamn Tesla Museum

Just over $80k shy of a million dollars and still more than a month to go. This is going to be one hell of a museum.

If you haven't gotten on board that Reaper Bones kickstarter yet, that 100-dollar Vampire pledge level has gotten pretty serious. With all the stretch goals, it's up around 200 minis for 100 bucks.

Just backed both Planetary Annihilation and the Vampire bones collection, going to get *all* the dragons (that are not undead at least) and hyrda, now I'll just need to start an in-person all drake campaign when they get here.

Reaper kickstarter just cleared another goal... 4 more undead minis.

And some of the options are looking pretty sweet. I'm digging the look of the giants.

A recent calculation puts the current value of the Vampire pledge level at just over $1,046 if you were buying them in metal.

I am currently at $233... still wrestling with whether or not to up that.

Some of those figure look made for Fantasy Craft.

If I had $100 around to burn, I'd certainly go in on the, at this point, stupidly cost effective Vampire level, even if I never could paint them all.  However, I have Metatopia coming up in November, and I need room money because I am too darn old to sleep on the floor anymore.

The options are so very nice though...

Up next are Storm Giants -

Oh - and it is worth mentioning - you are going to be allowed to do some swaps. As an example, Sophie On A Bike is a $25 option, you can swap her out of the Vampire pledge for $25 credit, to use on, oh, say Nethyrmaul....

Damn that is an amazing deal, and full of some very sweet models too - makes me wanna get back into painting minis.  If if wasn't for the fact that we never use a battle grid I'd jump on it, no question (well that and a distinct lack of spare money).
