Mine arrived about twenty minutes ago.

Posted a brief update over in the other shipping thread, and will be posting something more official on the front page later this morning.

I'll say it here as well - if you love your book, please spread the word! We can use all the good word of mouth we can get. :)

Just got mine a few minutes ago.  Gorgeous book!  I'm getting a little tired of books I get in the mail always having the corners all banged up something fierce, but I guess that's just the US postal service for you...

Sigh. We're really sorry to hear that. We did everything we could think of to protect the books in transit but at the end of the day we really are at the mercy of the postal service. :(

Hey, it's cool.  I in no way blame you guys.  Between the postal service in general and my mailman in particular, it happens more frequently than I would like.

Banged up corners aside, the book looks amazing, and looks really nice next to my first edition novel hardcovers.  So I say "Bravo!" to you all

Picked up a hardcover today at Black Diamond Games, en route from lunch.

Really nice hardcover - I had grabbed the softcover previously (it came well recommended), but the hard cover is quite nice.

You're lucky - Black Diamond is the only retailer in the country to get these hardcovers, thanks to the partnership we have with them for supporting our Bay Area shows. Enjoy and thanks for your support!

Call them first. They've had a few copies of the hardcover. I might have taken the last one, or it may have been the only one on display.

Gary was pretty pleased, and referenced the arrangement. Michael Parker was the one who recommended the Mistborn game.

I wouldn't worry too much about Black Diamond running out. They stock our Bay Area shows, so they have a healthy pile of the books on hand.

Good to know! Mainly, I'd have felt bad if someone drive out expecting though ...

I went and bought the 1st Mistborn novel, and The Alloy of Law, via iPad last night after getting into the adventure game a bit.

Lucky. I preordered in December 2011 and I am still waiting for mine. :(
