Can't wait for the hardcover unboxong.... and arriving! No need to rush with my hard cover, they take forever to get to NZ anyway, so you have my official permission to leave mine til last! Wink Probably not Wolverine's though, he might not be as relaxed  Grin

Oh we know. We're already in fear for our lives. Wink

Any news? The date approaches.

But it isn't here yet. How could there be news unless the books arrived early? (They haven't BTW.)

I want to stress that the date the printer gave us is a projection. It's nigh impossible to guarantee dates when freight is involved - other companies that guarantee a product will be in their warehouse by a given date? They're padding. They actually get the books in weeks earlier and sit on them until their announced date. Wink

We didn't pad here - we gave you the dates the printer gave us, so please don't be stunned if the books don't arrive on July 9. We won't. We have evidence that they'll arrive close to that date but there are no guarantees - and as we've said everywhere we can the books won't be shipping until the week of July 16 anyway because of Comic-Con.

In other news, we're consistently amazed by the warm generosity of our fans, and today's no exception.

A forumite benefactor who's asked to remain anonymous has offered to pay the shipping for a hardcover to Shinrei, and so we've made those arrangements and the book will go out with the other hardcovers in the week of July 16.

It's days like these that Alex and I most cherish. The Crafty Games family is special for many reasons but first and foremost because you're all awesome. Thank you.

As the one profiting from this generosity i can only second what Pat is saying. I was totally surprised and overwhelmed by this generous offer. I humbly accepted it. The not-so-egocentric side of this deal is that i can give the awesome guys at Crafty Games some money and that was the deciding factor when i made the decision to accept the generous offer of the anonymous benefactor.

If you read this, Ms. or Mr. Benefactor, you have my sincerest and heartfelt thanks!

Yes - the day I was on the road to Comic-Con.

See why we pad the schedule? (In this case, "padding" by saying we'd ship the hardcovers out next week.) Wink

So there's a review on Facebook, and other folks are commenting on it that they got their copies... Did our start sneaking them out the shipping line a little early?  And if so, when can I expect mine?  :-)

Gencon last year (when I initially preordered) was a looooooong time ago...

Probably not individual emails but if you subscribe to our RSS feed or watch our Facebook Page, Twitter Page, or Google+ Page, you'll see a note there when the last of the first (current) wave of hardcovers go out.

All those are contributor copies, drawn from a separate pool that was shipped out from a separate location.

We're shipping purchased copies out this week, and as noted in the previous post will be updating our various feeds when they're all in the mail.

It was, and we apologize (again) for the long wait. Had we been able to anticipate the various issues between then and now we definitely wouldn't have sold those products at the show last year. We've adjusted the way we do things now, and you'll see the first evidence of that at Gen Con this year. (Indeed, folks who made it to San Diego Comic-Con and visited Brandon's booth in the hall may have seen what we're talking about...)

Ooh, you tease... When will we non-Con-goers get to find out what they saw?

It's stuff we'll actually have for sale at Gen Con, so probably a week or two out from that show. (For those of you not counting, that's just a couple/few weeks away, so... not long!)
