Well, iTabletop is selling Lifetime accounts for as low as $9.99 right now (includes three floating licenses). If you scroll down, you can watch the video tutorials. They'll show you what's on offer. If you like what you see, just click the "Store" tab on the navigation menu to see prices.

Thanks! Looks like those videos are a little long, so I'll swing back around in the evening or when I have time.

Well, if my math isn't all wrong you (and the other yanks on this forum) could still try it out as a player. If we started around 6 in the evening, that'd be what, 10-12 in the morning for you guys? Not the most common time of day to RP, I know, but probably worth it to check if this program's as good as it seems. If not, well, I'm expecting everyone to write up what they thought afterwards, so hopefully you'll get a feel for how well Roll20 will work as a virtual tabletop.
If I'm doing the math right that's 10pm (2200) here in East Australia. If you are playing on a friday or saturday night I'm in and might drag another with me.

Yep, GMT+1 (well, +2 for summertime atm).

Right, I forget that GMT doesn't shift. Central European is what I meant.

So yeah, Central European Timezone and late afternoon/evening for weekdays or noonish/midnightish for weekends. MugMug's in, if he wants, anyone else in a decent timezone or fancy some early/late gaming?

I do want, but my schedule is a little hammered at the moment (always, really). So, this month I'd be available 1700-2300 on 14 & 18 May, 0800-1700 on 19 May, and any five hours from 0800-2100 on 20 May [and yes, that is my availability for the entire month--that's what I mean by 'hammered' Sad ]. If that works out then great, but if it doesn't I won't take it personally.

Wait, 1800 central European is 2200 east Australia? That doesn't sound right... Yep, putting it through a time zone converter puts it at 0200, which sounds a bit closer. Oh well, I guess it'd be a bit too much to try and run Americans, Europeans and Australians at the same time. Tell you what, though: if there's a group of Australians or from neighboring time zones it wouldn't be too much bother for me to run it once relatively early local time, or around mid-evening for you guys. Just lemme know when'll work for you guys and we'll arrange something.

I think we can work something out. I've the day off 18th May, so we could arrange something then. Maybe 1800-1900ish so Pat and any other yanks who want to try it could join us as well?

---

Anyone else fancy a go at it and can spare the hours sometime soonish (within a week or so)?

I'm interested.

I'm at -4 gmt and I'm not working the next few wekends. I'm also off tomorrow, but I have a pair of movies (Avengers and Vampire Circus). One's at 2145, the other is whenever I feel like it.

Daylight savings time.  US moves up 1, but noon at the prime meridian doesn't change.  So currently US Eastern is GMT -4, US Central is GMT -5, etc.  England also observes daylight savings time, so strangely enough they are at GMT +1 right now.

Alright. I've plans Saturday, so how's Sunday feeling for people here? And as it appears this'll be a US edition, let's say at 19:00 GMT+2?

I've blocked out time on 18 May. As we get closer let me know if that's still on.
