I was screwing around with Anthilles' Drama Cards and I wanted to make a few more. My skills with Paint.net being poor I was checking around for another option and I came across the Magic Set Editor and popped out this guy:

I like the program, but the real fun idea to me is that Bard (DnD)/Captain (FC) doesn't need to have a folded 3x5 card on the table to remind the other players of the bonuses he is enacting.

Nice, eh? Classes up the table. Might be a bit small for everyone to read but you can always bump up the size in paint before your print it.

Plenty of possibilities for this little program. I always liked the idea of non contact contacts, the party helps out a well to do merchant and a few levels later they want to call on him for a favor.

I had a buddy I used to play DnD with, he was playing a Wizard and made a very nice check off sheet for the spells he had memorized. I think if he had this thing he would of really enjoyed remaking his "deck" every time he put up a Secure Shelter for the night.

FC uses spell points instead of slots so things are a bit different, but he could have just counted off colorful bits of paper.

Neat.  Have you printed any out (and do they print out standard trading card size - for like plastic sleeves and the like)?

No, they're too big. I had to resize them in paint.net.

You can pry my 3x5s off my cold dead corpse...

These are very cool, I could see people doing them for themselves. I rely on my 3x5s Smiley

I've been using Magic Set Editor for a while, mainly to create the Solo and Squad Mode abilities and the Psychic Powers for FFG's Deathwatch game. They've been a great boon in combat speeding things up tremendously.

I can see a myriad of possiblities for other RPG's, not least because I find some players are more willing to use a feat/power/ability if they have a physical reminder of it.

Hmmm, good point. Handy thing to have to intro a new group to FC with the games plethora of combat options.
