1.  Extra Vehicular Activity.  A space walk.  Lyssa has suit jets and other gadgets for this, does anyone else?
2.  Yes, and dumping the air in the main gangway will keep the airlock from opening on the station side.

Hitting both airlocks: Yes, I think this is a good plan, as long as some people don't mind fighting their way onto the ship.
Locking the doors behind us: Yes, absolutely.  I still want to use my jammer, because they longer reinforcements take to show up, the better for us.
EVA gear: In the games, electro-magnets as part of boots seemed to be standard equipment.  Which is to say that I have a suit and whatever comes with it as standard, but nothing extra.

(click to show/hide)
So, if that's standard, then my plan is to just walk along the outer hull.  If not, then maybe I can further abuse my omni-tool to make it happen?  Perhaps spend an action die to let it function as a temporary climbing kit?

Oh, and as long as I'm asking for judgement calls, here's another one.  With the combat drone tech power, the drone's defense is based on your electronics ranks.  Is that supposed to be 10 + ranks, or just ranks by itself?
And on that topic, although I am loathe to bring it up, the drones attack (and damage, such as it is) is based on Electronics ranks also.  Given that, I chose electronics as my scientist PhD skill.  The result is that I doubt my drone will ever miss an attack.  It's currently incapable of missing me, for instance.  My defense is certainly not good, but even if it was, I would only need a roll of 4 or so to hit.  Just food for thought, there.

In the event of a decompression, there has to be some simple mechanism for sealing off the airflow to the module, even if it involves someone crawling through the ducting and tripping it manually.
On the bright side, it is Omega, so there isn't a central alarm location, but since the Blue Suns are running this area, shutting down their air will summon reinforcements.

The Combat Drone only lasts for three rounds; it attacks, Taunts, and defends with your Electronics ranks; and its Defense is just your ranks.  +8 to attack, with a Defense of 8, does ZERO damage, and can only take five damage before going splut doesn't seem broken to me.  (Until you go three feats deep, it doesn't do any damage, it just locks an enemy down for up to three rounds.)

It's actually electronics bonus, not ranks.  So +12 attack.  But I suppose you're right, I was misremembering the way it works.  It taunts rather than attacks, so being skill based is not a problem.

Defense is ranks, Attack is bonus.

So, we're going to roll the batarians in section 8.  Once they're down, we'll hack into the airlock that is connected to the ship, then Yuri, Sev, and Iriquoi will storm the ship while Zane and Lyssa sneak out another airlock, and into the engineering compartment?

One question -- are the EVA folks going to go out a different airlock unconnected to this section and then walk over or go through the door into this section and out one of the unoccupied airlocks?

I had originally proposed using an airlock on another deck, but it seems that we are going to use one of the airlocks in this section.

Up to you. Using this section means you won't have any more surprise than you can manufacture coming through the door. Using another section means a more challenging spacewalk.

Using another section means a more challenging spacewalk.
Neither the station nor the ship is particularly moving, so this one is plenty simple, the sort of thing Lyssa has done quite a bit and is equipped for.   Grin

But I think we're all plowing through here then taking the short hop or going up the gangway.

This is roughly the situation I'm imagining.

I'm looking for an empty dock or nearby service airlock.  If we need to go to a different deck to find one, that's fine.  Just any airlock that's at least remotely nearby and isn't likely to have a bunch of people around, wondering why we're all going for a space walk.

People don't get enough space exercise...

If that's what you want, it can be done.
If the section is not occupied, the door will be locked (Security or Electronics to bypass)
If the section is occupied, you get to tap-dance your way to accessing their airlocks. Or they can become what the experts like to call "collateral damage"

Works for me.

We will be able to tell once we look at the control panel?  (Why didn't we check on this before?)
