ok, i am trying to figure something out here, right now zane does not have a helmet so his suit is not sealed, also there is not mention of any add on's to a suit that can be applied in the armor table which a helmet is considered an add on but i can sacrifice his pistol since i get a weapon pick anyway get 2 armor upgrades with that get the suit fitted and have the helmet included.

LordK, is minty in a docking bay or berthed at an airlock? I'm assuming the former.

The entire ship is not docked within Omega. It is birthed at 1 front airlock

So, really we all want to EVA to the airlock not connected, pick that lock, override the computer to dump the atmosphere.  Or sneak into the engineering emergency airlock and take it over from there.

Hey!  This is before ME2!  Omni-gel still works!   Evil

How much does a hard suit cost? IE, how hard is it to get ahold of one IC?

Calibers II through V.  They seem to be rather ubiquitous, especially the lighter ones.  I would think the caliber II hardsuits would be common.  (Assault, heavy assault hard-suits and urban combat suits run 50k credits, and N7 parts are 5k each in ME3.)

FWIW:  Insulates suites are to protect from hostile environments, so I would see coming with a helmet and gloves to be most reasonable, even if folks almost never actually use them.  (Nor do you need a whole helmet to keep vacuum from killing you for a few minutes, a gas mask type face protector can do that, and given the way things fold up, a whole helmet could be built into the neck and we never see it.  Nor am I entirely sure why most of the N7 helmets don't seal the suit.)

I need to boot up ME1 and check out the various shops I think. But later. I think I'll ditch the cover ID and scanner, and grab a modded light hardsuit instead

i would say its probably safe to say that most suits are sealed. the only problems i saw in the first game were really extreme environments, like ice worlds, or like mercury were just extremely hot.

So, team 1 waits at the main airlock.

Team 2 breaches engineering, settng off emergency alarms.

Team 1 breaches the main airlock during the confusion.

Both teams sweep and clear the ship.

I reckon you could get the 1st team to just force the docking arm to release the ship, preventing any chance of reinforcements. Cutting the power cable EVA should release the clamp, and it has to be done anyway to prevent port control stopping us from departing.

BTW - my newborn arrived this week, so while I'll keep monitoring the discussion, I'm not going to be heavily involved in the OOC threads. Once you guys have a plan to move forward with, we'll go from there

CONGRATULATIONS!!

We don't want to do too much damage to the station, but I'm confident there is a simple manual release on the clamps that hold the ship to the airlock.  (If not we just bust 'em.)

1)  Hack station security.
2)  Hack the ship's security to get into ship.
2a)  Emergency airlock to engineering or walk in.
3 or 4)  Take control of engineering.
4 or 3)  Disengage from the station.
5)  Finish locking down the crew and secure the bridge.
6)  Disable any transponders.
7)  Take the ship wherever.

What am I missing?
