Does the all knives armed work for throwing knives and/or shurikens too?

Seems like throwing knives at least.

No, throwing knives and shurikens aren't listed under knives in the equipment section. Daggers come with the Hurl quality though and you can chuck those all day. Also, when you Hurl a melee weapon you can make use of the Hurled B/M/S feat chain.

Also, if you have enough knives with hurl you can use Angry Hornet/Blackened Sky without worrying about handle item actions.

Excellent point.

What's the ruling for using Blade Flurry as a ranged attack? Throw 3 knives or just the one? Must be 3....

Blade Flurry is a melee combat feat, I wouldn't allow its use in ranged combat. That's what the Angry Hornet/Blackened Sky are for. On top of the Hurled Tree.

The rules lawyer in me wants to point out that it's simply a "Knife Attack Trick" not a "Melee Attack Trick" (and that level of specificity is certainly in the core book) and by using the Hurl quality to attack with a knife you are most definitely performing a "Knife Attack" by any definition.

I also think it's too awesome to disallow.  A final point is that it has different application to Angry Hornet - a higher penalty (in effect) and is restricted to a single target, but for slightly lower resource investment for a generalist knife user.  Of course this is where I point out that YMMV and most definitely that your table, your rules (just felt compelled to point out that by the RAW it is very legit).

@Jake - I'd make it use 3 Knives, because anything else wrinkles my brain.

It's the same has using a longsword in two hands. You double grip the thing and you can use Forced Opening and Turn the Millstone.

That's what I think, too, I just wanted to take the opportunity and throw it out there.

A Question:

The Knife Tree comes with an ability to, once a round, feint someone you've just hit with a knife as a Free Action. Since it has been ruled that Blade Flurry counts as three separate strikes, would be you be able to use Blade Flurry and then Feint if you strike them with 2 or more attacks, allowing your Second hit (but not your third, as flatfoot ends when you are struck) to gain your Sneak Attack Damage?

My next scene is tomorrow and it is a Dramatic Scene, so this could be handy to know.

I would rule this a no in my games, if only because that's allowing free actions in the middle of half actions. It would open too many cans of worms that are either the purview of other feats or specific rules or specifically against the rules.
