LordK, no worries.  I just wanted to make sure you weren't waiting on us for something.

Jim, it looks to me like if you care about defense or ACP at all, a medium hard suit is the way to go.  At least until you can get some N7 armor.  I think the only reason to go with a light hard suit vs a medium one is if you just can't tolerate the speed penalty.

Personal Tailoring and Weight Reduction upgrades go a long way there.  I think if she's been living in it for the better part of a decade, those adjustments have been made.

"N7" is just code for "awesomesauce modular armor"?

Was anyone else disappointed that you couldn't take the greaves and helmet from the urban assault armor and use them with the N7?

It irritated me that you couldn't opt to remove the helmets from the DLC armour.

On second-look, we're going to rewicker the approach to gear to using the Stockpiling option since that will more directly relate to the Mass Craft pdf and be a smaller headache for me.

About to get on a plane, but working on the intro scenes, hopefully will be able to post it tonight.

Lifestyle I gets you a Caliber I vehicle.  Can Lyssa have an EVA upgrade for her armor?  Basically a set of jets to move around in vacuum, also powerful enough to slow you down when jumping from a height, a la the assault troops in ME3?

And how does the Infiltrators Gear Prep ability mesh with Stockpile?

Yes.

I don't know, what would you suggest?

Under Stockpile, any character option that normally grants a gear pick adds 1 to your possessions score instead.  Gear Prep lets you increase the caliber of one pick by one grade.  So the question is whether you think that's close enough to being a gear pick to add to the possessions score.  If it was me, I'd say yes, as it's not much different from just giving an extra caliber 1 pick (based on pick caliber conversion).

As an alternative, you could just go with the second part of Gear Prep.  Normally if the pick you wanted to us Gear Prep with was already caliber 5, you instead get bonus upgrades equal to your starting AD.

Well then, according to Krensky, that makes Gear Prep pretty badass.

I'd also argue that the Extra Gear feat should work much like the various "increase a pick by 1 caliber for a fixed gear type" abilities, as the conversion method listed in the PDF makes it horribly substandard compared to Pack Rat

Sorry I haven't posted my stats yet; hell of a week. The character is on paper, but it's a matter of finding time to type the damned thing up...

What gear system have we decided to use? Cash n Carry won't work, and at the very least we need Prizes.

Wow.  So, what do we need in the way of Caliber IV gear?  I'm sorely tempted to get Lyssa a set of N7 armor and say it's the armor she spent a decade mostly living in and upgrading...
