Welcome to the boards Woorloog!
Thank you

In design, I considered all areas as radius - "within 10 paces" from the user, for example.
Hmm, this will make some area effects very large...

The answer is both Smiley The pace is not intended to be anything other than a rough estimate of distance, all of which is pretty loose in the game and the source material. I think using the Roman Pace is cool, so I'd lean that way if I had to choose Smiley
...but since the units are "flexible" i guess it is easy enough to limit and change things as the situation warrants.

Yes it is! Work has begun on the product, in fact. More on that later Smiley
Very nice, loved The Alloy of Law, Allomancy fits early 20th century setting very, very well. Can't wait to play to it!

EDIT My brother started to wonder about what happens when you throw only sixes (challenge roll). Is it automatic success or do you have to reroll or what? Didn't find any rule concerning this (might've missed it though, if so, which page i should be looking at?).

Its just an extension of the core rule on page 144. You fail as your Result (you got no match on dice showing 1 to 5) does not exceed the Difficulty. However, the Nudges would reduce the Complications arising from failure significantly.

We replied to this, didn't we? If not, I apologize.

The books are at the printer and we're waiting for an ETA. The Digital Edition is being bookmarked now and should be ready soon-ish.

We'll likely report on both together when we have all the info and assets in place.

You certainly did with a "pretty soon". Two weeks seemed like a good guess at what that meant ;P

Hey, not sure where I should post this.

First things first, I got my hardcover version of the book and I love it!

However I was looking over the Feruchemical chart in the back cover and I noticed that Atium is listed incorrectly. It lists the power of Atium as "Stores Personal identity" instead of storing Age.

I looked and couldn't find anyone else pointing this out so I thought I would. If I notice it somewhere else I'll remove this post.

Yup, that was a cut and paste error. Sorry about that.

Lerasium is misspelled right next to it as well.

Both my bad and flagged to be fixed if/when we get to a reprint.

Understood, and heck I wouldn't have noticed it if I wasn't lovingly looking over that chart in all it's awesomeness.

I didn't notice until Brandon's assistant emailed me about it. I spent quite a long time pouring over the project for mistakes but the end sheets were proofed separately than the interiors and there was a lengthy gap between them, so I managed to overlook a couple items at the end. Sad

So,
lets say we have a Keeper with
Physique 6.
and for arguments sake Pewter 10.

He can at most tap, 4 charges to bring his effective physique for strength to 10.
If he tapped 6 charges, he would not go to stength 10 with 1 automatic nudge, right?
Do do that he would need to tap 4 charges bringing his Pool upto 10,
and then 5 more charges to get the 1 automatic nudge.

One of my friends interprets is as:
You can tap 10 charges to get your Pool to 16, which becomes a pool of 10 with 6 free nudges, Then to get more nudges you must pay 5 charges each.
This is wrong right?

There was a big debate on it, but you're right not your friend.

Hey Crafty-guys, are you still making corrections to the game? At least the digital edition? Here are a couple of slips I've noticed:

-In the digital PDF bookmarks "the Treatise Metallurgic" bookmark is labeled "The Threatise Metallurgic"

-In the Zinc chapter, pg 328, the difficulty chart is labelled "Type of Information Desired (Example)" when it should be something like "Strength of Rioted Emotion" as in the Brass chapter.

-In the Physical Conflicts chapter, in the Sample Combat section, pg 205, it says "Thorrow chooses to form a pool of 8 dice to attack, converting the other 4 to Defense Dice" but later on, in the same beat, it says "Carrow is next, his action delayed because he (unsuccessfully) defended against Thorrow’s trip. Brandon quickly rolls the attack, knowing that Thorrow has no more dice and can’t defend. Amazingly, he gets no matching set, so he quickly moves on..." (Emphasis added)

None of them are big things, but I thought I'd mention them.  Wink

Added to the file. We'll address them when we next do an update.

A couple others I've found:

P. 309: Tapping 30 charges of Iron: "Attackss" has an extra "S."

P. 360: Slow-Burning Electrum: It says that this stunt does not increase your Iron burn rate while flaring. While that makes sense, I suspect you meant Electrum burn rate.

Erm... Is v2 still the latest released Mistborn RPG version? Have the digital version.

Seem to have lost email's associated with my purchase or something, and neither am i sure if i should be or shouldn't received email from Crafty Games. If i should, then my email is deleting them or something right away.

Started wondering about this after playing Red Dead Redemption, reading The Alloy of Law again, and having some homebrewn RPG ideas, and then realizing that The Alloy of Law setting would be quite good for my RPG idea with some tweaks, so i started looking if TAoL supplement had been released already (looks like it is in the works?).

EDIT OK, about the email thing. I have the revised version (v2), as noted, but the email for that has vanished (definetly not deleted by me, i keep all the important things around). Very annoying. The only email related to Crafty Games is my account creation email, at least my password was safe...
EDIT2 *deep sigh of relief* I had used my other email, luckily those old emails are still stored on my old laptop. Backing them up now. But my original question still stands, v2 is still the current version, right?

EDIT3 yeah. Backed up old emails. A few years worth actually. A good idea i did that.
Also, no idea what idiocy made me buy the Mistborn RPG using different email than this forum account is using. Would've saved me some worrying if i had used the same email...
