i may have missed this in here, but it seems that sam raimi is doing a wizzard of oz prequil

http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Oz-Great-Powerful-Poster-Shows-Us-Tornado-Oz-Emerald-City-31728.html

He is, and the reason you haven't seen much yet is because the production's been extremely quiet. It's hard to tell whether that's because they're holding back for a big splash later or the production's in trouble, or something else, but as far as I've seen there isn't even a Comic-Con presence this year. Strange.

Welcome to Rekall: I think you can guess which package I chose. Wink

No Rekall: I'm a little disappointed that this page doesn't (appear to) have any interactive component. Bad ARG developers! Bad!

The tiny glimmer of hope in me hopes it was intentional - to give the anti-Rekall group a kind of low-tech feel (no flashy gimicks, simple 1-page layout).  Like a flyer, but on the net - you can almost imagine some anti-tech weirdo shouting from a corner, while trying to push their single page of "this thing is bad" onto people who avoid them.  Given the absolute level of contrast between the two pages, it just has to be intentional.

Though, the cynic in me still shakes his head and mutters "Lazy".

(Also: Damn their "Only open to US residents" - sure I'm not gonna win, but it'd be cool to be in the draw for some of those prizes (5 hour training session with UFC + Octagon seats?!  Hell yeah!)).

The only issue I had with it is that if you do not spot the link located to the lower right, you are required to enter through Facebook which I still refuse to join.

Anyone recognise the girl who explains it all?  She looks super familiar, but I just can't place her (and it's bugging me).

Rise of the Guardians Trailer 2: This looks better and better. Just the right blend of mature adventure and youthful whimsy.

Indeed.  I had somehow missed this one but now it's on the family movie radar.

are they headed for a robocop reboot? ed 209 looked different in that, plus in the origional movie he was designed as an enforcer, not as a military design. he was destroyed by an anti material rifle, nothing compared to a shell from an mbt.

Yup. That's what the whole "RC" unit thing is about.

This one's been in development for a while now. Due out next summer, but we'll see some stuff about it this week at Comic-Con.

It's finally done!?!? ::goes and checked for a screening at Comic-Con::

Sad panda. I won't be able to make any of those raffle handout times, so I guess it'll have to wait. Sad

Still, awesome that they made it to reel!  Grin

Cool. First I saw of this.

I was watching the clip and thought: Hey, that guy looks like Teddy Roosevelt. Then I read the description of the film.
