It's brilliant! ... We can all thank Bobcat Goldthwait for it too!

Bobcat Goldthwait is nearing comedy gold. His stand-up bits are are pretty good.

Interesting - so I guess that end bit from Avengers is to lead directly into it, rather then Avengers 2.  Could be cool (depending on who is involved in it).

I'm... cautiously optimistic. Marvel Studios has its head in the game these days but if there's any property over there that could go cock-eyed, it's that one.

My feelings precisely.

Here's hoping they do some justice to the future of the line. Personally, I'd rather they start breaking Black Panther and Dr. Strange soon.

It all has to key through Thor. Thor (and the Asgardians in general), are established now as the audience surrogates for voyages off Earth and into the cosmos of Marvel crazy, and the Thor movie sets up the fundamental workings of the film-continuity cosmos. One can only hope they'll build from that rather than scrap it.

Thor 2 I think will have to revolve at least in part around efforts to repair the Rainbow Bridge and resulting cosmic shenanigans -- Beta Ray Bill anyone? --  at which point it will be revealed that Loki's defeat was actually a Xanatos gambit to allow Thanos to claim the Infinity Gauntlet.

Beta Ray Bill! He's cosmic. Tied to the the Guardians to a degree.

(I'm a fan of Beta Ray Bill. So, I'll admit that I'm biased.)

True, but keep in mind that the show you cite was just canceled in favor of a whole new iteration more in line with the movie continuity.
