Don’t f--- around with gods

Ridley Scott being interviwed on his thought on science fiction and the genesis of his new film. No spoilers if you've seen the trailer.

Amazing Spider-Man Japan trailer: Little more story this time. We're really starting to get a handle on what to expect here, and I like it. It's not any better than the Raimi films - which I adore, even in the case of 3 whenever it isn't dealing with Venom - it's just very different.

I also love what Webb's saying about the "untold" part of the story (read at your own risk - it's a mild bit of a spoiler for the series).

On Cabin in the Woods...

I guessed 90% of the plot during the opening visuals - before a single actor hit the screen - and I still had a great time. CitW is proof positive you don't need to surprise the audience to entertain them. Which, coincidentally, is part of the point.

Go see this movie. It's amazing.

Personally, I'm rather pleased that they're going to touch on Parker's scientist background a bit more.

That's been happening a lot on Youtube lately.  Xbox360Achievements.org actually created their own video service because several interviews their staff personally conducted were being removed from youtube on copyright grounds (in addition to content specifically provided to them for articles by publishers).  Plus their comments section makes me feel like I really should apply my robotics studies to creating Terminators...
