If someone was to start a Stargate game, would people prefer SG-1 or Atlantis?

There's no "No Preference" option, which is the one I select.

Not seeing a lot of love for Atlantis here. Any reasons why?

No experience with it, I've never got around to seeing it (but then I haven't seen all that much SG1 either - not having a tv slows down watching immensely) and the few people I know have watched it said it wasn't up to much.

I like it, though that partly comes from the hotness that is Teyla and Ronan, and a like of base-under-seige stories that comes from decades of Doctor Who.

Like I said, I have no preference.  I do love Atlantis as much as I love SG-1.  That said, I think the non-loving portion really arises from the fact that everyone is so used to SG-1.  People keep expecting it to BE SG-1 that they forget it's a completely different plotline.  Anyways, logging my vote as no preference and keeping an eye on this.

Since it looks like any game is going to be set in the home galaxy, anyone feel like commenting on the updated origins over on Licence to Improvise

I like both shows quite a bit, but I chose no preference, it would be fun to play in the the stargate universe doesn't matter where really.

Sorry, but...

Who's to say you can't run or cross-over characters to Atlantis in due time? An idea you don't run with can still prove useful down the line  Smiley.
