Ok so lets say you've taken Devilish heritage as your species feat ,which along with other things makes you an outsider  . What happens when you die, because when an outsider dies it's banished , how do you bring that character back cant find anything that even remotely covers this . Does it just come down to an Rp thing which is fine or is there some rule I'm missing somewhere?

I would just run with the Cheating Death rules, start on pg 384.  They may come back the same, or something very very........ um... different....

I'd say that's a question for any given GM and Campaign. I can see any number of possible outcomes.

Agreed. That's absolutely the purview of "Me and the GM sat down over at Arby's and thought up THIS". The Cheating Death rules aren't a bad place to start, though of course don't apply in Dramatic Scenes.

As an aside, I'm down with the notion of the Outsider-type effectively making you un-resurrectable. There's a ton of metaphysical flavor in there. But again, you and your GM work together to decide.

You may want to see this thread, particularly posts #4 and #6 from Morganstern.

Personally, I say that's the price for getting all those nifty outsider benefits. Ageless, don't eat, etc.  The PC gets a lot more than just the little bit Devilish Heritage gives him. Its the risk he takes for being "better".

But, for bringing him back, I agree with everyone else, you can use the cheat death rules, or the GM can make the whole aspect of it the source of the next adventure as the party tries to figure out how to bring him back.

What he said.
