Soldiers dr vs Called shot
« on: January 16, 2012, 08:57:08 AM »
What is the penalty for someone doing a called shot against a warrior who has no armor on just getting dr from his class? technically what kind of armor is someone considered to be wearing when they have just dr and no armor on would be an even better question, are they considered to be in full armor since their dr is everywhere?

I assume you mean the Soldier? If so, Called Shot doesn't work as the DR doesn't come from armor. Armor Piercing still works, however.

As an aside, Called Shot would work on Thick Hide, as it specifically states that it is equivalent to partial armor.

This was actually just answered by Alex in another thread. The trick Called Shot doesn't work against Soldier DR (or similiar types) because it's a Class Bonus not an Armor Bonus, and called shot works against armor. They're just considered that tough that they can shrug off hits and such and there's no real way to bypass that. But regular AP works just fine against it.
