Ya know, thinking on it, some kind of ultimate rain storm makes for a pretty good spiritual / rebirth type apocalypse. The water washes away the bad and brings new life and all that. Not as stylish (or useful gaming fodder) as zombies or fireballs from the sky, but it's got a certain type of style.
Sure, there's nothing worth watching on TV, but that's nothing new for a Saturday afternoon.
Not so many, compared to the 20 predicted dates over the last 12 years. But I'm sure the usual suspects will make up some more before too long.
