Ok, I'm sure this question has been asked before and I'm proabably just missing it, but does anyone know where I can find the pdf that has the info about the Heroic Factions from the World on Fire setting??? I have searched literally everywhere, and have had no luck. It said in the book there would be a pdf, and I was planning on using some of those factions in my game. More detail would be nice, instead of trying to make everything u[p myself, but if this pdf doesn't exist, I guess that's what I'm gonna have to do...  Undecided

As it happens, that product hasn't been released quite yet - and it's not just one product but several, including a largish book-length PDF with the info you're after, and a set of follow-on PDFs with adventures and other material.

They're on my plate, though they're not quite next. Soon, though. Smiley

Ok, so it wasn't me not finding it, it just hasn't been released yet. Well, I was very curious about the Bloodvine Syndicate, seeing as how they apparently have access to the Eternals experiments, according to the book. Another thing, how does that whole string of Lieutenants being the same guy work? Are they clones, or were they just the Orphan at first, then replaced by trusted members of the family or what? And just who is this Orphan anyway? The book doesn't really say much about him, other than he was a street punk, adopted by Dominic Demise, and left in charge after his demise. (and then the whole thing about the creating a false family member with the coup and all that.)

Mister Andersen, thank you for showing me that link to the Ulysses Agenda, it looks like a very interesting faction, and I'll run it through with my players and see what they think. We tend to like a little sci-fi in our games, and a faction with an agenda for space exploration could be very interesting. In fact, if my players approve, I might pick up that sourcebook for aliens in Spycraft.

While I'm at it, does anyone have a recommendation for sourcebooks I should pick up? All I got is the rulebook and World on Fire, and I was thinking of getting the Bag Full of Guns, and maybe a couple of mods. obviously, I could purchase them all, but with 3.0 coming out soon, I'm weary of purchasing anymore. btw, is World on Fire going to be re-released in 3.0, and will any of the 2.0 books be usable?

(I apologize if I'm asking too many questions, I got gamer's block, or whatever you call it when you don't have any material for your game, hence why I could use a good mod.)

There are a bunch of missions on the downloads page here: http://www.crafty-games.com/downloads

There are some from Classic Spycraft which can be mined for ideas as well as some for Spycraft 2.0 .  They aren't World on Fire specific, but most can be adapted easily enough.

You can also find some missions over at http://www.theagencystar.com/

Check out this for some one page synopses of missions and here for some other downloadable missions.

Thanks, I think I've got more than enough material now to keep my game running, but how about the sourcebooks?

Any chance of or plans for a POD option on this?

It's hard to predict, but I'd say the Bag Full of Guns and Agent X series, along with Fragile Minds and Practice Makes Perfect are the most useful, since Big Score, Spellbound, and Origin of the Species are largely covered in FC. The Light of Olympus one might be useful to save a large amount of time if you need mermen, fauns, medusae, and centaurs.

I find myself often going back to SC2.0 and even Classic SC and SFA stuff to use as a starting point for things in my FC game, and I suspect 10kB and SC3 will be no different there. SC2.0 stuff typically takes some work, but not as much as starting from scratch.

@Krensky, Yeah I got into Classic Spycraft back before AEG dropped the line, but I never really got into FC. Anyway, I found the Bag'o'guns to be quite useful, and I will defenitely consider the other ones you mentioned.

Well my sessions went incredibly well, even though I still don't have info on some of the organizations from the book, I managed. In fact, I was even thinking of publishing a module based on what I did, but I'm not sure what the legality on that would be, since I used a couple of things from the World on Fire sourcebook. What I actually did was a prelude to the setting, which I have planned out into three parts, but so far, I only have the first part done. I am currently working on the other 2 parts but I need to know what I would have to do to sell my module, if that's even possible.

If you're serious about publishing it, drop me a line and we'll talk. There's a license for just such endeavors.
