With fractionally under 2 weeks left in the year, I think it seems pretty unlikely.  Maybe next year, if we're lucky...

Also, Ghost Protocol wasn't to shabby, went and saw it last Friday night.  Worth a watch if you like those kinds of films.  Looking forward to Skyfall (wish it wasn't a year away Sad).

I suspect Snake means 2012, not 2011. Mid-December probably isn't really the time to say that anything ought to happen "this year" and expect to be understood.  Smiley

That's my gut too, 2012. I'm hoping before Memorial Day but I have a feeling it will be Gen Con in August.

I'll go with "next Christmas", just to be safe. There's an awful lot of work to be done on 3.0 yet. Not that I know, because I don't. But we haven't seen or heard too terribly much about what's coming. Mistborn could be "blamed" for that lack, but it doesn't need to be. I'm just thinking there's more to be done on 3.0 than we may think.

There is indeed still much to be done, but there's no need to "blame" any project for another one's scheduling. We're pretty deep into Spycraft Third, but yes, there's still much to do. We're not close enough to discuss our plans for pretty much any part of the game yet, least of all schedule.

Thanks for your enthusiasm, however! Smiley

In complete honesty, I think a schedule would be really helpful to the fans.  I'm not asking for dates, at all (especially not ones that can't be concrete), and I'm not bitching about the release times or a lack of "that'll be out in feb" type things.  I just think it would be good to have a list alone the lines of:

This is our current release and development schedule:
1: Mistborn (Print Version)
2: Spellbound
3: Gear for the Ages
4: Remaining "Saturday Morning" Spycraft products (2.0)
5: Looking Glass Wars**
6: Spycraft 3
7: 10, 000 Bullets
8: Gear and Gadgets
in da fuuutuuurrreee: Chrome, Vow of Silence, Shatterpunk, Crucible etc..

That's obviously just off the top of my head, and just a totally speculative list based on what's been talked about in the past, but I think knowing "what's next" would be great for the fans - and limit questions along the lines of "When is X coming? Why no news of X?"  It'd be simple enough to put it somewhere obvious, and everyone would see that you are working on "X" at the moment, and it is next up on the block.

Just a suggestion.

** Is this still coming?  There hasn't been any word for the last year, or so, on developments, and the last I remember hearing was back in the Spring 2010 State of the Company.

As you figured, 2012 was the year refered to.  Smiley

Just looking forward to SC 3.0 a lot and I think with any game, when there's a good genre vibe happening (eg Espionage films) at the same time, it gets people psyched up to re-create that excitement.

Also at the stage in my games where some good modern day specialities and gear would come in useful. I know i've got SC 2 but would be nice to keep it all pure mastercraft.

I don't know how many ways we can say it...

We're no longer talking about release dates, release order, or any other information related to the release of incomplete projects. You simply will not hear anything on that front from us again until a project is out of editing and all remaining variables are locked down.

Is something on the Development page? Then it's in development.

Are we talking about something on the blog? Then we're working on it.

Are there any guarantees until we give you release details for the very next thing (and only the very next thing)? There can't be. Not now.

Thanks for understanding.

Táimid ag a thuilleadh ag caint faoi dhátaí scaoileadh nó ordú faoi scaoileadh.

And it means?

According to Google Translate it translates as "We are no longer talking about release dates or order of release."

I don't know how many ways we can say it...

He was giving you other ways to say it.
