The ever astute ZetaStriker's has raises issues with Pewter's short burn time and the longterm applications and effects of Pewter Burning.

It's almost as if Pewter should have a different burn rate for healing, avoiding Pewter drag and increased speed to model what we see in the books. This rate could either apply to all Pewterarms or be a stunt.

I actually think the rate of three hours per charge for this applications make sense and is balanced, p,us it aligns with Unconscious Burning (which remains valid as burning whilst unconscious is useful).

Rule of Cool. I think that's even mentioned at some point...

Does that include Coinshot PC who just spent Advancements to do exactly that only to see a PC without it do it? If Rule of Cool is to be applied, maybe the stunt needs to be revisited so adds something else, like allowing those Nudges needed to be used on the attack to reflect the surprise?

Crafty, any chance of a clarification and an update to the example to deal with this.

We're looking at it. Not ready to sound off yet.

The PDF bookmarks for all the metal chapters have the type and push/pull in parenthesis except for Copper.

Sadly, the bookmarks will have to be redone from scratch, so this will be rectified as a matter of course.

Sorry to hear that. One other problem with the bookmarks I just noticed: Book 2 is labled "The Threatise Metalurgic". There should not be an h in Treatise. It is correct in the book, only the bookmark is incorrect.

p. 476-479

The descriptions for JeHoy's destiny end up with a picture showing the alteration to her Tragedy, and vice versa. (Destiny description adds the Destiny bonus to the Tragedy entry on paper, Tragedy description ends up with the Tragedy Turning Point on the Destiny picture)

p. 550

The example somehow goes from a 4,2,2 with two +1s going to 5,3,3. Someone added an extra +1 in there somewhere.

I'm hoping the issue with the pictures here doesn't take a whole lot of work to correct but it did make me stop and go "Wait, what?" when I read the examples.

Nah. That's a relatively easy swap. The full text revisions will be much trickier. Wink

I suspect the answer is no, but is there any idea when the revised PDF will be made available?

Actually the text is all fine, for the issue on 476-479. It's just that the pictures don't match said text. You can't really swap the pictures either, because they're both half right and half wrong.

We'll dig into it. Thanks!

Yes. I need to finish my end of the work to revise the book before we talk about them in detail. Upshot: there will be ways to burn the metal slower, but it will not involve changing the burn times as listed currently in the book (those were approved by Mistborn HQ).

Example clarifications on the timing of Feruchemy, pre-edits, are available here: http://www.crafty-games.com/forum/index.php?topic=5938.msg106617#msg106617. Head on over and give them a read!

Request:

Could a moderator consolidate all the items that have already been brought up in these ten pages and index them by page number on the first post.  This way newcomers don't have to trawl through ten pages to see if their catch has already been reported.  This would also make creating an errata sheet extremely easy, and it would facilitate any similar activities.

Just a suggestion, thanks.

Just for clarity, these corrections are all being incorporated into the PDF and the print version. So it won't need to form an errata sheet.
