Wink    I must be getting bored because I am considering starting my first game since the forum moved over from that other site. The game would be a, what I call hard edged espionage/special operations game. We couild either use the 1st or 2nd edition of Spycraft.  I do not yet have a firm story line as of yet but my games usually have a few twists to them.  The party could either be special operators or espionage agents or a combination of the two. The game would be for relitively experianced assets so would probably start around the 6th level. If there is any interest let me know. Thanks.   Cool

Interest? Yeah, it's there since I can't get a decent group for my own SC game.
I'm for a SC 2.0 game.

I'm definitely up for that kind of game.

No strong preference either way.  This would be my first time playing with 2.0 rules, so it would be a bit of a learning experience either way.

I'm good for a slot.
I love hardcore blow stuff up and kill people action, but I'm good for whatever as diversity breeds increased competence. =]

And 2.0 all the way.

I'm good to try again. Cheesy  I've had bad luck with play by post games for some reason. Sad  And I don't care either way.

Would the SpecOps be something like The Unit then?
I have no problem playing good guys, bad guys, in-between guys.. Ronin, for example.
For the Espionage, what style did you have in mind?  Closer to Bond or Bourne or Mission Impossible?

Sure, count me in.  And I'd prefer 2.0 myself.

Are we going to play all-american charas or rather international?

I'm planning on a US characters centered game. The characters will be part of a highly covert organization.
The questions are what your preferences are, military spec ops with perhaps a spook liason. Or an intelligence agency with perhaps military liasons.  As a preference I'd say the first option personally. But it depends on preferences and experiance of the players.
As for the question about whether the characters would be good guys, yes but they will be doing things that in a court of law be considered very bad.  Their actions will be to paraphrase the old military oath, 'to defend the US from ALL enemies both foreign and domestic'.

Joint or single service?  And is this a mix of hyper-capable generalists, or more specialized?

Ok, if I see it correctly:
-American
-Spec Opcs centered with a spook for flavour

Hmm, gives me ideas already:

AFSOC, SFOD-D, Marine Force Reckon, S.E.A.L.s

And, if we go with the first with a spook liason, is the liason a character? or NPC?
