Giants have Trample
Giants have Improved Stability, which says they're considered 1 Size Category larger for, among other things, Trample Attacks

Does that mean they're considered 1 size bigger when being Trampled (meaning only Colossal+ creatures could trample them), or does it mean they're considered 1 size bigger when trampling (meaning they could trample creatures up to medium size and do 1d12 instead of 1d10), or both?

One size LARGER when they do the trample. So a medium creature (like a Dwarf) would be considered large for trample attacks, and other things covered by the ability.

So a Giant Tramples as a Size H creature then? (1d12 and can trample up to Medium sized creatures)

That's the way I read it.

I should probably say more than "I concur". I don't want to be that guy.  Smiley

So keep in mind that Trampling, for giants especially, doesn't have to mean "overrun in a straight line". In fact, the giant can move in a circle around his current position and simply end up in the same spot. This way, it's more a representation of one of those sweeping-arc attacks where giants bat foes around like ninepins (or a humongous giant roundhouse kick).

And this is one of the reasons why I love Fantasy Craft.  People tend to underestimate skinning abilities as they think it is silly; however, if done correctly, skinning only adds to the awesome that your character can do.

If you mean what I think you mean (never heard it called skinning, though that's a pretty apt term), then we're completely in agreement - I always tell my players to ignore the flavourtext and focus on the mechanics if they're going for a specific concept / combo.  If the mechanics cover something that they want to represent perfectly, then who cares if it's officially called something different?  Being awesome trumps everything.

Both. Improved stability make dwarves harder to be trampled and giants better at doing them. Thats why it doesn't say "one size larger when performing trample attacks" and it also doesn't say "one size larger when the target of trample attacks." The simple language indicates both functions.
