So, two questions for other readers:

1) How DID the skaa girl survive the Steel Inquisitor? It was pretty jarring to have her show up alive in the romance chapter, and seemed really off. And where did Roan come from? He apparently slept next to her every night but wasn't mentioned in either chapter with her in it?

2) Who was Kem supposed to have killed? It was Len who killed the young noble, so I was lost there as well. Unless another of the 20 or so fleeing skaa found another to kill from the family (though wasn't he the only one left behind)?

Other than that, I really loved it and got extremely excited for the game after reading. Damn fun.

I also note that Amyse seems to first appear as Arice. She changes to Amyse on the way to Luthadel.

Whoops! We'll get that fixed in the next pass. Thanks for the heads up!

In game terms, reality is broken.

On a more technical point, the EPUB's meta data was borken. Essentially, you need to have an author.

I'll pass that along to the graphic designer. Thanks!

In this case, you might want to point them to this EPUB validator, too: http://www.threepress.org/document/epub-validate
