How would you rate the following in Origin points?

1. Immunity to fear, including stress damage, the shaken condition, and the frightened condition
2. Immunity to the frightened condition
3. Stress Resistance 4
4. The fearless II NPC quality.

Interesting.  Assuming I am correct from looking over the point cost spreadsheet... most of the origin points come out "roughly" equal to 1/2 the NPC Quality XP value (with minor variations for really powerful qualities).

So assuming that...

1) Immunity to Fear = This is an odd duck since there is no straight up "fear" effect. Fear can be either a morale effect, stress damage or apply the frightened or shaken conditions. See below.

2) Immunity to Stress Damage = 2.5 points
* Damage Immunity (5XP) - Immune to damage of a single type

3) Stress Resistance 4 = This is another odd duck int he group. In NPC qualities, this resistance becomes Damage Defiance or Damage Reduction except that stress damage ignores DR, so it has to revert to the Damage Resistance rules, which there is really no XP value for other than it it is granted by gear (armor and magic). Personally, I'd avoid this one since it treads into a bonus usually only attained minimally through armor or most often through reputation. That or give Damage Defiance (stress) at the cost of 1 point.
* Damage Reduction (3XP) per points of DR
* Damage Defiance (2XP) per damage type reduced to half

4) Immunity to Shaken condition = 2 points
* Condition Immunity (4XP) - Immune to 1 Condition

5) Immunity to Frightened condition = 2 points
* Condition Immunity (4XP) - Immune to 1 Condition

6) Fearless II = 2 points
we already know Fearless I = 1 point, and Fearless I is also 2XP. Fearless II is 4SP, thus I'd say 2 points.

So total immunity to all fear effects would be:
* Immunity to Stress Damage = 2.5 points
* Immunity to Frightened condition = 2 points
* Immunity to Shaken condition = 2 points
* Fearless II = 2 points

Total Points = 8.5

That's not going to work, I think. Immunity to stress damage should not be more expensive than immunity to shaken, since immunity to shaken makes the character effectively immune to all stress damage that doesn't have a rider effect. Similarly, you can't just add the cost of immunity to shaken to the cost of immunity to stress damage and get a reasonable total.

As for Stress Resistance, the feat Farstride Folk grants it, as does Great Horde. Many Elemental Heritage feats grant resistance of various types.

Firstly, my bad, I missed the Stress Resistance on the spreadsheet. Its listed as a cost of 1. As for Immunity to Stress damage, I was simply going by the Damage Immunity cost, I forgot that all stress damage really does is force a Will save or become shaken. So in effect, all you need is Immunity to shaken. This also means that if you are immune to shaken that you don’t have worry about Stress Resistance either. Thus in that case, simply grant the immunity to the Frightened and Shaken conditions and Fearless. So...

* Immunity to Frightened condition = 2 points
* Immunity to Shaken condition = 2 points
* Fearless II = 2 points

Total Points = 6

That being the case, I wonder if I can't just roll up immunity to shaken, frightened, and Stress Damage into oen 4-point trait. I wonder if that's how it's costed for Constructs?

I think following construct makes it far less then that - since the Subdual / Fatigue versions would be 4 pts too, totaling 8 points.  Which means they get the following for free:

Immunity (Mental Attribute damage)
Immunity (Sneak Attack)
Immunity (Bleeding)
Immunity (Enraged)
Immunity (Fixated)
Immunity (Paralyzed)
Immunity (Sickened)
Limited Critical Injury Resistance
Doesn't Heal Wounds naturally
Doesn't Sleep, Age, Breathe, or Eat

The only one I'm sure of the cost of is Immunity (Bleeding) - 0.5 pts.  I would speculate that the other condition immunities are about the same cost.  This means it's conditional immunities come to a total of 3pts - lets call the limited critical injury resistance another 0.5 and lack of natural wound healing -0.5.  Call the rest 2 points (Sneak attack and mental attribute damage immunity, as well as not needing sleep, air, or food) and that's 5 points already (and those costs are fairly generous).  3 points left has to cover total immunity to both stress and subdual (along with shaken and fatigued - explicitly) - a little too good for the cost.

Another wrench in the works is that No Pain is 2 pts - and it's far worse then flat out immunity to a condition (which means immunity should be more then 2 pts).  I realise no pain lets you have either Fatigued or Shaken, but given the choice between immunity to one type or drop a grade once - I know what I'd pick.

Perhaps Construct is just too good (to the point of being almost overpowered) to use as a base line?  Or perhaps there's some kind of hidden "package" discount?

Just thinking out loud here, so to speak - sorry if it's no help.  Out of curiousity, what are you trying to model?

I'm trying to build a Thrall, from Talislanta. They're a race of engineered supersoldiers created by ancient sorcerers. Their signature characteristics are being completely covered in tattoos, having a savant-like talent for strategy, and being completely immune to fear.

Sounds like a neat race.  My gut instinct is that 4 points works - I'd cost the Shakened immunity at 3pts (quite a lot better then No Pain), and cost Stress Damage immunity at 0.5 (only because you are effectively immune to it via Shakened immunity - this is a minor additional safeguard, at absolute best) and Frightened immunity at 0.5 (same as Bleeding immunity).  Grain of Salt and all, though...
