that was pretty cool and managed to do some digging after watching that clip.

Didn't know that Daft Punk made an animated film for their second CD. Going to have to track this down called Interstella 5555. Brings back all sorts of nestalgia for old style anime.

Done with Leiji Matsumoto of Space Battleship Yamamoto and Harlock fame, it's a fun watch.  No dialog, the first few segments were released as videos.

Amazon  has it.
