Previews?

We have one week to go before the release on the 8th. Any chance of more previews before the release to help build enthusiasm? The primer, character sheet and art were all excellent, but we have had only one excerpt from the book regarding Destiny.

Yes. I had intended to put some up Friday and yesterday but got sidetracked with the Very Important Work (tm) of getting the product ready for release.

I'll admit that I'm not familiar (we've been a bit busy this year). How so?

It's true that we haven't been as diligent with previews as we were expecting. The reasons for this are many and varied, and also long and tedious. Leave it to say that the last two weeks have illuminated much about the technical end of this project that I wish we'd known three months ago.

We'll have something up tomorrow - likely something a bit modest, as we have something big planned for Friday.

Thanks for sticking with us. It'll be worth the wait, we promise!

The One Ring promised many previews leading up to the PDF release but due to licensing and other concerns at the last minute, none eventuated. Several fans and people involved with the project ended up having to dance around NDAs to generate enthusiasm for the release, which ended up paying off for Cubicle 7 in spades in sales.

Ah. The license has not been the issue this time (Brandon and Co. have been fantastic). All the issues are on other fronts.

Cool. to be honest, if you hit the 8 November date, the delays will soon be a distant memory in any case:D

We just posted not one but two updates: a smallish preview (as promised - tomorrow we'll be posting a bigger one), and an interview with 17th Shard, Brandon's official fan site. The interview is especially juicy, as we talk more about the game there than we have anywhere else to date.

Friday's preview was the Mistborn Adventure Game Sample Heroes, but we had a bit of a site burp late that night that fragged several hours of forum traffic.
