To be honest, Paranoia is just happy to have someone to talk to on that list.

No it's not.  If there's someone to talk to, there's someone to plot with.  Or be accused of plotting with.  or suspected of plotting with.  Or to look at funny.  After all, World on Fire IS a mutant d20 game and mutants are not to be trusted.  Now report for execution, citizen.

Sweet! We hadn't expected any books to go out yet as we noticed a last-minute issue with 2.0 and asked for another round of galleys (this is after the latest post I made in my blog). We were hoping those would arrive quickly enough that we could just say, "Here's a release date!" rather than "We're waiting again."

I suspect Alex is right that Mongoose has only shipped the direct pre-prders, but I'll double-check and update you guys soon. Again, hopefully the next thing you hear from us is "Everything's good with SP and both books hit on [DATE]!"

Actually, I'm slightly worried that there seems to be 'Spin Doctor' missing from my table of contents, as I thought they'd fixed that... (or maybe they left it in as an easter egg for us forumites?) so I'm wondering if I got a copy out too early?
It is in the chapter mini-ToC but not the main one...

I didn't preorder 2nd printing (though do intend to pick it up) so I have no idea if that's been shipped out too, I presume not.

Book is fantastic. The Eternals are... intriguing. Pitfall is nastier than I thought (way nastier). Crunch is very crunchy.

Thanks Overninja! That was hard work putting that book together and it was so long ago now that it's hard to make the connection between the labor and the reward. Hopefully other folks will groove on it as well and it'll all be up side, but I'm quite proud of it regardless. Smiley

Huh. Maybe I missed it? I'll check my galley when I get home.

Regardless, I haven't messed with the TOC since the initial rewrite, so it's not an indication that anything's wrong. Only and indication that I'm going blind.  Cheesy

You got a copy without pre-ordering? How?

Ah, I see. Yeah, with the (hopefully last) SP galleys getting to us (hopefully) this week, you wouldn't have it, even if you'd pre-ordered.

So the good news is, you have a bit more time. Not tooo much, but at least a few more weeks at this rate.

So there's still time to make my Papa Smurf "Not long now, children," macro and have an opportunity to use it?  Wink

Glad you approve. It came together pretty well, I think.

I'm guessing the Nine Tigers is the first faction PDF.  You so have the twins on the brain with that one.

(And I honestly never thought it would be this hard to google-search an appropriate Papa Smurf image to macro.  All I'm finding is cosplayers and porn.  Sad )
