See item #4 on Cracked.com's list of 5 Historic Artifacts You Won't Believe Still Work.

What's this? Some kind of secret subterranean ballistic missile base?  And they called it Project Iceworm.
Who's the more foolish, the fool or tfwfh?

Hmmm, speaking of Cracked - The Five Most Spectacular Landscapes (That Murder You)

I have already used both the Bolton Strid and the Corryvreckan Maelstrom in steampunk games. The Bolton Strid looks so... innocent....

Does this look like a killer stream to you?

This is what it looks like, not too far upstream, where it is known as the River Wharfe:

See how wide it is?

Now turn it sideways and balance it on edge - that is the Strid... and it runs very quickly over a series of underwater caves.  >:D No one knows just how deep it really is, but it is a killer....

The Auld Grump
I don't know how the story ends...
But I do know what happens next.

It's the perfect way for a villain to bring in a death laser. In fact, the best use for The O2 would be to hide a death laser.

Eplans.com is a website that sells blueprints for houses. You can make selections based on what sort of house you want a given character to live in.

Then browse through the results and find the house you want. Then you can view the blueprints and have a room layout for that house

$4,600,000 luxury super yacht called the Osros Island

Now THAT is lifestyle 10.
Secure, mobile, and only missing a few homey touches like SAM sites and a submarine pen.

Also, Aogashima is what I kept thinking SFA's "Monolith" was. Hmm.
