Since I figure here's as appropriate a place as any to ask: Will Spellbound have any rules for ritual spell casting?  Also rules for group / coven casting?

My setting will require both, and I have ideas for both, but if there will either be a full system in place already, or a framework I can build for I won't spent any of my limited time on it yet.

In a word, yes. Smiley

The book will include a Ritualist class and a related subsystem of rules.

And the final Base class is revealed!
1. Channeler (Base)
2. Conjuror (Base)
3. Enchanter (Base)
4. Preserver (Base)
5. Prophet (Base)
6. Reaper (Base)
7. Seer (Base)
8. Trickster (Base)
9. Mage (Base)
10. Ritualist (Base)
11. Infernalist (Expert)
12. Mist Dancer (Expert)
13. Hexer (Expert)
14. Alchemist (Expert)
15. Rune Knight (Expert)
16. Arcane Savant (Master)
17-20. Huh?

Thanks mate, very nice to know (now I can focus my efforts on other items for the setting).

Assuming it's a base class and not an expert class.

That's a point, but it sounds too general for an Expert class.  Unless ritual magic can be used by anyone regardless of class or that the assumption is that settings that use it delay magical knowledge.

Well, I have two questions that I have been wanting to ask for awhile and I may as well ask now Tongue

1. Will there be feats for spellcasters that specialize in a particular damage type? (i.e. Fire Basics/Mastery/Supremacy)

2. Will there be some spells for shapeshifting characters?

At this time, there are no plans for that type of feat. However, the Channeler, as master of all sorts of energy, gets some nasty tricks with certain energy types you might be interested in...

Definitely! Shapeshifting is a part of magic Pat and I tend to be very wary of, which is why we didn't release much in the way of true shapeshifting in the core FC book. But the Shapeshifting discipline will be complete, meaning on the order of 25 or so spells focused solely on different types of shapeshifting.

WOO!

I've always hear that shapeshifting is one of the trickier parts of design as far as magic and the supernatural goes.

Can't wait to see the Channeler!

Awesome,

Fire Brave Ogre throwing around with powerful Illusions, deceiving people with smooth talking and outright lies empowered by his magic and Shapechanging spells for infiltration and to get rid of the opposition. Shocked
Classic Trickster figure... who happens to be on the king-size side. Grin

Will it be possible to change into another creature (like Zeus as a Bull) or outright imitating specific individuals (going full-blown Loki-Style to town)?

That's excellent! If you didn't, I was going to write my own, using the Pathfinder "pick a form" versions as a model, plus some higher level versions that templated based on size, limbs, and movement types.
