Which begs the obvious question, when?

Which begs the obvious question, when?

On one hand, I'd like to second that question.

On the other, I realize it's a complex question, you're busy writing this stuff, corporate secrets, etc.

So, let me phrase it this way:  Would it be possible for Crafty to put a list - with full and copious disclaimers that this is tentative, estimated, guessed upon, and wishfully thought - up on the site of upcoming products, expected release order, and time frame (vague things like "late in the year" or quarters as opposed to months or dates)?

I'm sorry if this was answered already and I missed it.

I'm going to be the first to oppose this question, just because Koalas have a tendancy to be fussy.  And why not now?  Wink

On one hand, I'd like to second that question.

It's on Scott's desk and just needs another surgical pass, final edits, and layout, so within a couple/few weeks of him getting back. If I had to guess, and at this point it would only be a guess, I'd say toward the end of October.

It's not that we want to keep things from you guys. It's just that stuff happens both slowly and quickly behind the scenes. For example, Class Confidential: Soldier sat on my desk for a couple months while I put out fires with the print products, but when I got to it the edits took me less than a week. Unfortunately, the edits also proved that the format is lacking, which dovetailed the whole line into a holding pattern until we figure out how to make it work.

We'd love to do this, but it's not realistic - especially for PDF products. As things firm up, the print schedule should come together and slowly get farther out just as it gets more accurate, but as I describe above, the PDF stuff is always in flux. We found when we tried a release schedule on the old site that it's just lunacy, so now we're aiming to remain a little more quiet about upcoming stuff until it's largely in the can.
